Role Overview
The Clinical Services Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s clinical direction, managing mental health programmes, and ensuring high standards of service delivery. This strategic position is ideal for a seasoned clinical professional ready to step into a leadership role that balances therapeutic expertise , staff development , and service innovation .
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Programme Development
- Design and deliver inclusive therapy frameworks, including individual counselling, group therapy, and psychological interventions .
- Align clinical services with organisational goals and contractual funding requirements .
- Ensure services are accessible to underrepresented communities including LGBTQ+ individuals , racially minoritised groups, and people with disabilities.
- Represent the organisation externally, influencing stakeholders and shaping mental health strategy.
Clinical & Operational Management
- Line manage senior clinical staff, providing day-to-day leadership and support.
- Oversee clinical governance, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and ethical standards .
- Conduct audits, manage risk, and ensure quality assurance across all services.
- Stay up to date with national standards and implement necessary improvements.
Supervision & Team Development
- Provide or coordinate clinical supervision for therapeutic leads and practitioners.
