Support Worker – Mental Health Assessment ServiceLocation: Sunderland Job Type: Full-time | Various shift patterns available

Pur client is one of the city’s largest adult social care providers. We are currently expanding our Mental Health Assessment Service, a newly developed service that supports adults with severe mental illness during a period of assessment and rehabilitation.
We are looking for Support Workers who are passionate about person-centred care and committed to helping individuals regain their independence and quality of life.
What You’ll Do:

Support individuals through a structured assessment and recovery process

Promote independence, life skills, and social inclusion

Work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team

Deliver high standards of care with dignity, compassion, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For:

A caring and respectful approach to supporting others

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work rota-based shifts
-
Experience is welcome but not essential – your values and attitude are what matter most

Relevant training (e.g. Medication Handling, Moving & Assisting, First Aid) is an advantage
