to join an established, fast-paced counselling service in
Salford .
The role: Youll lead and support a team of counsellors, with responsibility for: Team management and staff development Clinical, safeguarding and risk oversight Supporting complex and high-risk cases KPIs, quality and performance 1:1s and performance reviews Safeguarding and escalation Supporting team wellbeing and development The service supports adults and their families across a wide range of presentations, including anxiety, depression and bereavement, alongside
trauma, suicidal ideation, safeguarding concerns and complex risk .
Who were looking for: Were open to different backgrounds.
You could already be an experienced
Counselling Manager , or a
Senior Counsellor, Supervisor or Clinical Lead
ready to move into management.
Were also interested in
Counsellors with previous people management experience , even if that experience was gained outside of counselling.
Youll need: A recognised
Counselling or Psychotherapy
qualification BACP, NCPS or equivalent professional membership Previous counselling / psychotherapy experience Experience managing people, supervising staff or leading a team Knowledge of safeguarding and risk Confidence managing performance, KPIs and difficult conversations Whats on offer: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum Monday to Friday , mainly 9am-5pm One weekday
12pm-8pm Occasional weekend cover Contribution towards professional supervision Professional membership support CPD and career development Birthday leave Pension Life insurance Employee wellbeing support Why apply?
