Counsellor/Psychotherapist looking for a role where no two calls are the same?

Were currently recruiting for
Daytime Counsellors/Psychotherapists to join an established wellbeing service in the
Manchester area .

The role
As a counsellor/psychotherapist with us youll be supporting people who get in touch with the service for
immediate emotional and wellbeing support .

Rather than working with a set caseload or seeing the same clients week after week, youll be having
one-off telephone conversations
with people reaching out at the point they need support.

Calls can cover a wide range of topics, including
anxiety, stress, low mood, relationships, bereavement, work and personal difficulties .

Your role will be to listen, understand what the caller needs, provide appropriate therapeutic support and help them identify the most suitable next steps.

Youll also: Take inbound calls from people looking for emotional support Provide counselling and therapeutic support during the call Complete appropriate assessments Identify and respond to risk and safeguarding concerns Use your professional judgement to determine the appropriate support Signpost callers to relevant services where needed Maintain accurate clinical records Work alongside a wider team of counselling and wellbeing professionals Whats on offer
£30,000£33,000 per annum 5 weeks fully paid training for all counsellor/psychotherapist's £70 monthly contribution towards supervision for counsellors/psychotherapist's BACP membership paid after probation Access to a CPD Hub 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Birthday off Salary reviews every 6 months Set daytime shifts , with no rotating nights About you
Youll need to be a
qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist
with relevant counselling experience and membership of a recognised professional body.

Youll be confident working independently, managing sensitive conversations and supporting people presenting with a wide range of emotional difficulties.
