We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading consultancy delivering complex higher education, infrastructure, and diagnostic projects, typically valued between £20m–£30m. You will join a high-performing, multidisciplinary project team (circa 25–30 professionals), gaining outstanding exposure to major schemes, diagnostic projects, and smaller-scale projects. This role offers hands-on experience in live operational environments, providing a broad and varied range of work ideal for an ambitious and proactive AQS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the commercial and cost management of infrastructure, higher education, and diagnostic projects
  • Assist with cost planning, feasibility studies, diagnostic cost analysis, and change control
  • Prepare tender documentation, support procurement, and contractor appointments
  • Attend project, client, and consultant meetings
  • Work closely with senior QSs and project managers across a wide variety of schemes
  • Gain hands-on experience on both major and smaller projects to accelerate learning and career development
About You
  • 2+ years post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
  • Consultancy or contractor experience considered
  • Open to all backgrounds, but essential to have a can-do, ambitious mindset
