Senior Software Development Director – SaaS
Senior Software Development Director opportunity – manage a team of 5 Managers and department of 90+, building mission critical SaaS solutions at the core of this business. This position will ideally suit a Senior Software Development Manager who wants to make an impact: you will be empowered to drive change in software engineering processes and technology, with the goal of increasing the velocity of software development in the company.
You will report to the CTO, and will have good exposure to other senior executives in the organization. This is a highly strategic position, responsible for building the systems at the heart of the business. You will have a high degree of ownership and autonomy in your leadership of the software engineering team, including selecting technologies and process improvements.
You will manage a team of 5 leaders across their Software development squads and an overall department of 90+, make key technical contributions (architecture, mentoring, technical leadership, setting standards and best practices), and play an important stakeholder engagement role.
It is based in Limerick (2 days in office), with a hybrid model. This role will ideally suit a Senior Software Development Director with a strong technical background in Enterprise Architecture (ideally in .Net), and a track record of implementing process and technology changes in engineering departments.
