Exciting opportunity to join a large global manufacturing organization as a Principal/ Lead AI Engineer based in Dublin. As a global leader in innovation, this company continues to lead the way in creating cutting-edge technology with a strong focus on AI and Machine Learning.
As a Principal/ Lead AI Engineer, you will lead a high-performing and advanced team of AI/ML engineers in both strategic and hands-on technical work. Your mission is to deliver complex and innovative AI/ ML cloud/AWS solutions from POC into production. You’ll have complete autonomy in driving their roadmap by aligning engineering efforts with business goals, fostering innovation, and ensuring measurable impact. This will ideally suit a strong Principal/ Lead with an extensive hands-on AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning) technical background along with strong team leadership/ management experience.
Role / Opportunity:
- Full-time, hybrid role (Dublin-based)

Skills / Experience:
- 10+ years experience in managing/leading a team in AI/ML
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale AI/ML cloud/AWS solutions in production
- Strong technical background in Cloud/ AWS based AI/ML pipelines – from data ingestion to model deployment and governance
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with product and business teams
- Familiarity with Agile or Kanban methodologies for fast-paced project delivery
- Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and executive audiences
