About the Business

Our client is a well-established built environment and construction consultancy, providing specialist services across cost management, commercial advisory, contracts and dispute resolution. They act for a broad client base across the public and private sectors, supporting projects from early strategy through to final account and resolution.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, the business is seeking a Director or Senior Associate-level Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its London team. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to lead, grow and shape a commercial team, while managing a diverse portfolio of high-value, complex projects. You will operate as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic commercial input, robust contract advice and hands-on project delivery across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, healthcare and mixed-use developments. This role would suit an experienced QS with a strong consultancy background, a commercially minded approach, and an established professional network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial professionals
  • Deliver projects across pre- and post-contract stages
  • Provide high-quality cost planning, estimating and commercial reporting
  • Oversee contract administration under JCT, NEC and bespoke forms
  • Act as a key client contact, building long-term relationships and supporting business development
  • Leverage your industry network to contribute to the continued growth of the practice
