An opportunity has arisen for a Trading Administrator based in Chelmsford, Essex. This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months to cover maternity leave, with the possibility of extension to 9 months if required. The main purpose of the role is to provide administration/logistics support to the Trading desk and Shipping Manager.
Your Responsibilities
- Contract entry and maintenance.
- Checking supplier/customer contract confirmations.
- Issuing wheat delivery fixings to suppliers.
- Liaising with sites and traders as to weekly delivery requirements.
- Assist in daily communications between traders, sites and suppliers with regards to problem solving any daily issues associated with the delivery of wheat.
- Allocating and monitoring wheat-feed customer collections.
- Monitor the shared inboxes, ensuring all mails are dealt with appropriately in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assisting the Shipping Manager with imported wheat administration tasks.
- Any other ad hoc general tasks.

- General administration skills
- A levels or 5 GCSEs grade C or above (or Equivalent), including Maths & English
- Good telephone manner
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Computer literate in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Team player.
