We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager UK & Ireland to drive and expand our animal nutrition business in this strategic market. This role is key in running existing business and more importantly to significantly grow our footprint by offering a broad portfolio ranging from feed additives and ingredients to premix solutions.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge in animal nutrition or animal health with a proven commercial mindset and a hands-on approach to business development.

Main responsibilities
  • Unlock and maximize the growth potential of the Animal Nutrition business in the UK & Ireland region
  • Lead technical sales activities, including management of key accounts
  • Build, develop, and maintain long-term customer relationships across the region
  • Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Develop a deep understanding of the full product portfolio and value propositions
  • Create and execute annual sales plans and budgets aligned with regional strategy
  • Contribute to the development of a 3–5 year regional business growth plan
  • Provide regular reporting, sales analysis, and market insights to support decision-making and optimize go-to-market execution
  • Develop tailored customer solutions in close collaboration with product management, technical application and support teams
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape and market dynamics to proactively identify growth opportunities
  • Support and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies within the region driving and creating demand in the market.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including technical support, customer service, logistics, marketing, and controlling
Candidate profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agro-Engineering, or Business-related field
  • Strong background in animal nutrition/animal health and technical applications (preferred)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in B2B feed (ingredients) and/or animal health industry
  • Proven track record in business development and sales growth
  • Strong network within the UK & Ireland animal nutrition/feed industry (highly desirable)
  • Excellent negotiation and commercial skills
  • Self-driven, autonomous, and well-organized with a strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a (virtual and cross-functional) team
  • Experience working in a matrix, international, and multicultural environment
  • Strong customer focus and solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to perform under pressure with a proactive and hands-on attitude
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region
  • Excellent English communication skills
