An opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, a newly formed team within the ADM Investor Services business, based in the City of London. The role will report to the Head of Operations. As the Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you will assist the firm with meeting its Regulatory Reporting obligations, principally in relation to EMIR and MiFIR as well as other current or future regulation as required. You will help with the day-to-day operational responsibility for the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of reporting, as well as day-to-day oversight of the relevant operational processes including exception management and reconciliations. You will help define remediation and back-reporting requirements, along with testing and verifying remediation activity.

The main responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Provide day-to-day oversight of operational processes including exception monitoring / reconciliations.
  • Assume day-to-day operational responsibility for the timeliness and completeness of reporting.
  • Provide 1st line investigation/resolution of routine exceptions and direct non-routine exceptions to other departments as appropriate.
  • Investigate and respond to ad hoc queries and requests relating to day-to-day reporting activity and operational processes.
  • Record breaches and determine appropriate action e.g. escalation and remediation.
  • Investigate issues with and maintain static/reference data and undertake periodic reconciliations.
  • Review and test the impact of new business, business change and/or new products, markets or brokers.
  • Help to define remediation and back-reporting requirements, coordinating and verifying remediation and back-reporting activity.
  • Document and maintain Operations policies and procedures.
  • Undertake User Acceptance Tests (UAT) to verify systems and processes meet defined requirements and verify change in Production.
  • Prepare training relating to the internal operational processes within Operations.
  • Manage the relationship with key vendors (such as the Trade Repository (TR) and Static Data suppliers (e.g. Euromoney).

Your Profile:

  • An understanding of MiFIR and EMIR regulation.
  • Knowledge of the execution and clearing of various asset classes including Exchange Traded Derivatives, Equities, CFDs, Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange.
  • Experience of the LSEG UnaVista platform or a similar ARM / Trade Repository.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
  • Able to work with accuracy and detail.
  • Good communication skills, with experience of documenting procedures.
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a similar role.
