- Your Responsibilities
- Labelling, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch to a high standard
- To ensure a high standard of work and follow the production of goods and shipping schedule
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback and improvements to the day-to-day activities
- Work on improving the compliance actions through standard work on detailed activities
- To ensure all Health and Safety requirements are always followed across the site; help to identify and fill any gaps in safety that may arise; reporting of all accidents, near misses and property damage to Management
- To follow the company food quality standards
- To follow company HACCP policy through Safe Operating Procedures
- To follow the company policy on waste reduction across the site
- To ensure a high level of housekeeping across the site for food safety
Your Profile
- GCSE or equivalent
- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
- Forklift licence (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others both internally and externally
- Ability to work to instruction and on own initiative when required
- Ability to work, and show flexibility, across several manually demanding areas
- Presentable, with excellent communication skills with the confidence to ask questions to ensure job requirements are understood
- Keen attention to detail in maintaining a high quality of work in a busy factory environment
- Enthusiastic and hardworking individual with a focus on providing the best possible service.
- Enjoy being part of a team but taking responsibility for your own role is key
- Great attitude on learning on the job and working as part of a team is crucial
