We are seeking an HR Administrator to support the HR and Compensation & Benefits team with administrative and general HR support, primarily across the UK Oilseeds Division at Erith and Purfleet, and more broadly across the UK team.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead in updating, coordinating, and advising managers/employees on HR systems such as SuccessFactors, E-days, Kenexa, and MyADM.
- Provide full admin support for recruitment, including job descriptions, adverts, approval processes, and candidate tracking.
- Support management in scheduling, preparing for, and conducting interviews, liaising with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Assist with employee relations matters, such as grievances and disciplinary issues, supporting managers as needed.
- Support the Benefits & Wellbeing Specialist with admin and queries related to benefits like BUPA, company cars, pensions, EAP, and others.
- Guide on maternity, paternity, flexible working, jury service, and similar matters.
- Draft formal employment paperwork, such as addendums and invitation/outcome letters.
- Draft and send employment contracts and offer packs for new hires.
- Play a key role in onboarding and induction, including delivering presentations and arranging health appointments.
- Guide managers on probation processes, highlighting issues timely.
- Assist with sickness absence management, including data collation and reporting.
- Advise on sickness procedures and participate in review meetings.
- Draft occupational health referrals and arrange appointments.
- Manage HR correspondence such as leaver letters, references, and employment confirmations.
- Take minutes at meetings as required.
- Assist with internal training coordination and administration.
- Conduct routine HR reporting and communications, including newsletters and dashboards.
- Conduct exit interviews and manage leaver administration.
- Manage HR-related invoices, including raising requests and liaising with procurement and finance.
- Participate in HR or local project groups and activities.
- Contribute actively to the UK HR team, attending meetings and providing support.
Your Profile
- Qualified to Level 3 in Human Resource Practice or working towards it.
- Experience in administration, ideally in HR.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Willing to work from Erith and Purfleet, with occasional travel within the UK.
- Proficient in MS Office and quick to learn new IT systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, at all organizational levels.
