Main Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Production Manager on a daily basis about job allocation.
- Understand a formulation, collate all materials and manufacture product.
- Ensure that all documentation and labelling is completed when a process has been finished.
- Follow company procedures and work in a safe manner.
- Ensure food safety, integrity, legality and quality.
- Carry out other duties as reasonably required.
Responsibilities relating to Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients:
- Assist in the preparation of instructions for the production of APIs.
- Produce APIs and, when appropriate, intermediates according to pre-approved instructions.
- Complete batch records ensuring that these are completed and signed adequately.
- Report all production deviations.
- Ensure that production facilities are clean and when appropriate disinfected.
- Perform necessary calibrations and keep records.
- Maintain premises and equipment and keep records.
- Assist in evaluating any proposed changes in product, process or equipment.
