Your Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical team, including planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns and new installations.
- Direct supervision of the day work, shift technicians and contractors.
- Reviewing work order progress according to time and required standards.
- Contributing to electrical design planning and updates of site electrical drawings.
- Providing progress reports to the work order planning and scheduling team.
- Coordination with production and other departments.
- Supporting and overseeing the site's electrical and instrumentation compliance.
- Coaching of Electrical Apprentices.
- Identifying and ensuring the site has adequate spares for electrical infrastructure.
- Deputising for the Electrical and Instrumentation Superintendent, specifically relating to HV operation/isolation, permit writing, work order scheduling and management.
Your Profile
- City & Guilds/NC/HNC in Electrical Engineering.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with maintenance management software and a good understanding of MS Office packages.
- Certified for HV operation and isolation.
- Good experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
- The role involves working at heights, confined space entry, and manual handling requirements.
- Knowledge or general awareness of ATEX equipment – preferable, but not essential.
- Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or CYMAP – preferable, but not essential.
