At Immaculate Heart OSHC, Leichhardt, we’re seeking a passionate and experienced Coordinator to lead a thriving service and create meaningful, engaging experiences for children each day. Located within the welcoming Immaculate Heart School and Ipswich Parish community, our service supports up to 90 children across Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care. You’ll be stepping into a well-established service with a strong, supportive team already in place.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the OSHC service, ensuring a safe, high-quality environment.
  • Inspire, mentor and develop a dedicated team of educators.
  • Design and deliver engaging, play-based programs aligned to children’s interests.
  • Build strong, genuine relationships with children, families, and the school community.
  • Ensure compliance with National Quality Framework, Standards, and legislative requirements.

Requirements of the Role:

  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
  • Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
  • Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
  • Previous childcare service management experience.
  • Child protection training is a requirement of this role.
  • Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
