Position Overview
The Governors of this oversubscribed and forward‑looking school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join our very successful department. This post is offered on a fixed‑term basis until 31st August 2027. Continuation beyond this date will depend on future staffing requirements and budget considerations.
Responsibilities
- Teach across the Science Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Deliver a small number of Mathematics lessons.
- Meet professional standards required of all teaching staff and engage in regular review and development opportunities.
- Support the Welsh Government's curriculum reforms and help students develop their skills in Science.
Requirements
- Commitment to support and make a positive contribution to the life and strong Christian ethos of this 11‑18 Catholic school.
- Willingness to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and an enhanced DBS disclosure.
Contract
Fixed‑term until 31st August 2027; possible renewal depending on staffing and budget.
