To enhance their in-house design team, they are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Design Department. In this role, you will provide engineering support and manage projects for a diverse range of products within their portfolio.
- Overseeing and managing multiple ongoing projects.
- Collaborating with customers throughout the design and production phases to secure approvals and sign-offs as required.
- Develop documents like Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS), and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Collaborate with purchasing and accounts departments to produce part lists.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Ability to take a design from concept through to the final manufactured product.
- Experience in thermoplastic structural design, sheet metal design, welded metal structures, and basic pneumatic systems.
