You will be responsible for working as part of the Operations team to support effective day-to-day running of our facilities and operational processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Office Management
- Assist the Office Manager to maintain the smooth running of the office facilities
- Manage company enquiries by phone call and email
- Maintain filing systems
- Provide procurement support
- Provide general support to create a safe, enjoyable and productive office environment
- Recruitment support
- Manage candidates through the recruitment process using our Applicant Tracking System
- Conduct recruitment screenings of candidates
- Support the onboarding of new candidates
- Travel and Events
- Arrange business travel logistics
- Organise team events
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an office administration, administrative assistant, or similar role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional telephone manner
Desirable additional skills:
- Qualified first aider - training can be provided if necessary
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience in a start-up environment
- Experience coordinating meetings, travel, or events
- Knowledge of health & safety or office compliance procedures
Location: Our office is based in Osney Mead, Oxford.
