We’re MacIntyre, a national charity supporting people with learning disabilities and autism, and we’re looking for a Recruitment Officer to join our friendly, hard-working team. The role is based at our Milton Keynes head office, but you’ll be supporting different locations throughout the country, working closely with managers to help them recruit the right people for their services. Previous recruitment experience is desirable but not essential; what matters most is your attitude, values and willingness to learn. The recruitment approach is values-based and compliant, focused on recruiting the right people to support our service users.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building positive working relationships with managers through regular phone and Teams contact, with occasional visits
- Writing job adverts and managing vacancies
- Responding to applications and carrying out short telephone screening interviews
- Booking and coordinating face-to-face interviews
- Completing pre-employment checks, including right to work checks, references and DBS checks
- Supporting a values-based recruitment process that puts people first while keeping everything compliant
