Support workers are required to work across London. Arch Resourcing is currently recruiting for experienced Children Residential Support Workers to work within Young People services across London. You will be required to work ad hoc shifts on a rota basis with various shift patterns including waking nights and sleep ins. The shifts are solely based on the client’s daily requirements, so you need to be flexible and reliable.

The young people you will be supporting have various needs including physical or learning disabilities, mental health problems, addiction issues, or other emotional or social needs. The young people are independent but will need support when required, which could include attending appointments, helping them back into the community, assisting with school work, and participating in outdoor activities.

You will need to be confident with report writing and carrying out handovers to other members of staff. To register with Arch Resourcing, you will need a minimum of 1 year’s experience working with children and be able to supply up to 3 years of references. An enhanced DBS will need to be completed, or if you have one on the update service, this can be accepted.
