Arch Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Sales Engineer, working within the Sales department within a well-established Manufacturing company based in Coventry. The successful candidate will receive full product and on-going training and will join a motivated sales team with a proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets.

Role responsibilities:

  • Calculating material requirements and production costs.
  • Producing quotations for customers which are clear, detailed and accurate.
  • Providing and assisting colleagues on technical and engineering issues.
  • Building relationships with customers and potential customers to understand their requirements.
  • Communicating with customers to gain feedback on quotations.
  • Recording all relevant sales information on our system.

Role requirements:

  • Qualification(s) in mechanical engineering or a minimum of 3 years’ experience within the steel, engineering, or construction industry.
  • Confident in reading and interpreting engineering CAD drawings.
  • AutoCAD experience would be beneficial.
  • Ability to understand material grades and production methods.
  • A good level of computer literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Microsoft Excel conversant.
  • To be organised, accurate and have an eye for detail.
  • Team working and excellent communication skills.
