Key Responsibilities
- Cost Control & Operational Finance
- Lead cost management across manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.
- Drive cost‑saving initiatives and efficiency programmes, ensuring alignment with global standards.
- Monitor and analyse production variances, material costs, labour efficiency, and overheads.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Own the budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning cycles for the UK business.
- Deliver insightful analysis on performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build financial models to support strategic decisions, investment cases, and scenario planning.
- Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to the UK Leadership Team, providing clear, actionable financial insight.
- Challenge and support commercial, operational, and functional leaders to drive performance.
- Translate complex financial data into meaningful narratives for non‑finance stakeholders.
- Ensure strong financial governance, compliance, and internal controls across the UK entity.

Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong post‑qualification experience.
- Proven track record in manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, or another cost‑driven environment.
- Strong FP&A capability with excellent analytical and modelling skills.
- Confident business partner with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable operating in a global matrix structure.
