Arch is recruiting a Senior Actuarial Analyst with experience in London Market pricing to join the Pricing team.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the day to day pricing for several lines of business.
- Develop and maintain pricing models, including the transition of pricing models from Excel to HX Renew where necessary.
- Experience in HX Renew and EASA is required.
- Large account analysis and pricing: use sophisticated actuarial techniques to assess the pricing adequacy of large account opportunities and communicate results and key drivers to underwriters and senior management.
- Communication is a key part of this role.
- Portfolio Management: develop reports and analysis to monitor the performance of segments within Arch’s London Market insurance business and communicate key findings to underwriters and senior management.
- Exposure to other functions including Reserving and Planning will be expected.
- Be a key communication channel with our actuarial team in Manila.
Qualifications
- Have several years of experience in London Market pricing.
- Have technical proficiency in Excel, with proficiency in SQL, Python and/or HX Renew an advantage.
- Be undertaking an Actuarial qualification.
- Be a problem solver, be inquisitive and work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Personable and able to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
