Role Summary And Purpose

• Manage portfolio of claims across various business lines
• Handle and assess claims in line with the Arch claims philosophy
• Attend market claims meetings as required
• Report to Underwriters on claims trends/significant claims as required
• Liaise with brokers, stakeholders and insureds as required

Key Tasks And Responsibilities

• Adjust, assess and manage claims within own defined authority
• Act as referral point and ensure new claims and notifications are dealt with promptly and reported as required
• Ensure coverage is accurately reviewed and that reserving is correctly set and maintained
• Manage internal reporting to London claims team
• Interaction and support of claims management as required
• Prompt reporting of large losses internally

Qualifications

• Desire to work towards CII qualifications

Experience

• Experience within the insurance industry desirable
