We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Worker / Team Leader to join our team. House 169 is a six-bed residential care home for young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, including autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviours. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents while promoting their independence and dignity. Additionally, you will play a key role in supervising staff and contributing to the development of care plans tailored to each individual's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices in senior care.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
  • Maintain accurate records of residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns promptly.
  • Assist in organising activities that promote social interaction and engagement among residents.
