Arch is recruiting for a Senior Actuarial Analyst with experience in London Market pricing to join the Pricing team.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day pricing for several lines of business.
- Develop and maintain pricing models, including transitioning models from Excel to HX Renew where required.
- Conduct large account analysis and pricing using sophisticated actuarial techniques to assess pricing adequacy of large account opportunities, and communicate results and key drivers to underwriters and senior management.
- Monitor portfolio performance by developing reports and analysis to track performance of segments within Arch’s London Market insurance business, communicating key findings to underwriters and senior management.
- Provide exposure to other functions such as Reserving and Planning.
- Act as a key communication channel with our actuarial team in Manila.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in London Market pricing.
- Technical proficiency in Excel, with proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or HX Renew an advantage.
- Currently undertaking an Actuarial qualification.
- A problem solver who is inquisitive and works well independently and as part of a team.
- Personable and able to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
