The Leadership Development Partner is a hands-on, end-to-end practitioner responsible for designing, developing, managing, and facilitating leadership development programs and learning experiences that support the growth of people leaders across the enterprise. This role combines instructional design, content development, project management, and facilitation expertise to deliver high-impact, scalable learning solutions tailored to leadership roles. The Leadership Development Partner will support our enterprise mission to develop the next generation of Arch leaders.
This role can be remote but should be within commuting distance of one of the locations listed above. Travel (up to 20%) to other Arch offices will be required for facilitation, consultation, and meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Program Design & Content Development
- Design and develop end-to-end leadership development programs (e.g., workshops, learning paths, blended learning journeys).
- Create engaging content such as facilitator guides, participant materials, eLearning modules, toolkits, and job aids. Ensure materials align with stakeholder expectations, business needs, and cultural values.
- Work with the VP, Leadership Development to develop bespoke leadership interventions to address one-off leadership challenges and the latest leadership development principles and practices.
- Project & Program Management
- Manage program timelines, logistics, communications, and stakeholder alignment for multiple leadership development initiatives.
- Coordinate with external vendors, coaches, and consultants as needed.
- Program Delivery & Facilitation
- Expertly facilitate leadership development programs, workshops, and learning experiences for leaders across the organization, virtually and in-person.
- Adjust the facilitation to meet the needs of the different audiences, adapting in the moment based on comprehension, receptivity, and group dynamics.
- Measurement, Evaluation, and Continuous Improvement
- Define program goals and success metrics aligned to business outcomes and coordinate with Leadership Development team members to evaluate and adapt programs based on key insights.
- Support analysis of dashboards, telling the story behind the numbers, making connections and lending insights that increase program effectiveness and impact.
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in learning & development, with at least 3 years focused on leadership or executive development.
- Proven experience managing the full cycle of learning program development in dynamic, matrixed corporate environments.
- Skills & Competencies
- Skilled in designing learning programs using a range of modalities: live instructor-led, eLearning, microlearning, and blended learning.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating leadership learning programs and discussing leadership challenges with senior audiences.
- Working knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory principles.
- Comfort applying leadership models and utilizing psychometric assessments (e.g., Hogan) and/or development-focused tools (e.g., Everything DiSC).
- Experience utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint, learning authorship software (e.g., Articulate 360), design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), and LMS/LCMS platforms.
- Strong executive presence, with the ability to build trust quickly and influence without authority.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and visual communication skills; ability to translate complex concepts into simple, actionable content.
- Preferred
- Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Financial services/insurance industry experience.
- Experience working in complex, highly matrixed organizations and with different geographies and cultures.
- Prior experience as a people leader.
