Role Snapshot: A varied role focusing most of your time on IFA administration, but also 20% paraplanning involvement and 20% quality checking on 4 IFA administrators. We are expanding our IFA business and adding a Support Team, while introducing a new Paraplanning Team. This role has the potential to progress along the paraplanner route or into admin team management.
Company / Team: This role, within an established IFA business, is open purely due to business growth. You will join a team of 4 IFA administrators in this office of 15, with additional administrative roles elsewhere.
The Role: This Senior IFA Administrator supports several advisors and a paraplanner, with further paraplanners planned for the future. Key responsibilities include:
- A point of contact for clients on behalf of the Financial Planners.
- Processing all business in line with processes/procedures, collating AML documentation.
- Preparing documentation, valuations, and reports for client meetings.
- Processing account applications, transfers, and new business submissions and servicing existing business which could include policy changes, fund switches and withdrawals.
- Liaising with product providers and third parties to obtain information and manage client requests.
- Drafting detailed and robust suitability reports using provided tools, across a range of advice areas.
- Ensuring all compliance, internal documents, and provider paperwork are completed accurately.
- Collaborating with the Advisers to discuss client objectives, gathering information required to prepare suitability reports.
- Periodically checking work being completed through regular and spot checks on admin staff.
Skills / Experience Required: Previous IFA administration experience, good understanding of MS Office (Intelligent Office exposure helpful), team player with a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, and a valid driver's licence.
