About Arcavia Consulting

Arcavia Consulting is a specialist search and talent intelligence firm working across the design and construction market in the UK, Europe and the US. We work as an extension of our clients' hiring teams through three services: embedded recruiters placed inside the client's business, RPO services that deliver a volume of requisitions end to end, and sourcing for clients' own talent teams. Clients include Dragados, Gensler, Geobear and Bechtel.

Behind the delivery sits a research and content programme: three monthly newsletters for architecture, construction and talent acquisition, a monthly Movers & Shakers review of senior appointments, and papers built on the AJ100, the CN100 and our own primary research. We have the delivery model, the research and a growing reputation in the market. What we need now is someone to turn that into a steady flow of new clients, and to own the plan that does it.

If building a pipeline from the ground up in a business that does recruitment differently sounds like the right next step for you, we would like to talk.

Role purpose

The role is to drive new business for Arcavia: to build and run the pipeline that wins two new client partnerships a quarter across construction, infrastructure and architecture. It has three priorities:

  • You own lead generation and pipeline building.
  • You choose the CRM that manages it, and you run it.
  • You create and deliver the marketing plan, working in lockstep with the business development plan so that every campaign feeds the pipeline.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead generation and pipeline building: Own lead generation for the business. Manage the key channels and routes to market, including advertised vacancies, growing companies, businesses without a TA team or with a small one, senior leadership changes and private equity. Build target account lists, taking ownership of the market segmentation. Lead outreach and lead generation campaigns, and build reputation and relationships with TA leaders, HR leaders and industry leaders. Book and run discovery meetings and qualify each opportunity, bringing in talent partners and practice leads as delivery SMEs. Report on the pipeline and lead generation every week.
  • CRM selection and management: Choose the CRM we use to manage lead generation and pipeline building: set the requirements, compare the options and make the recommendation. Set it up: accounts, contacts, lead sources, pipeline stages and the reports the business runs on, working alongside RecruiterFlow, which runs our delivery. Own the data. Keep every account, contact, signal and next action accurate, and make sure the team uses it. Connect it to the tools we already use, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Juicebox, Lusha and Mailchimp, and use its data to replace our planning assumptions with real conversion rates.
  • The marketing plan: Create the marketing plan and deliver it, in lockstep with the business development plan, so that every campaign is aimed at the accounts and people the pipeline needs. Turn our newsletters, research and Movers & Shakers into campaigns with a follow-up attached to each. Plan targeted mailshots, paid LinkedIn activity and small-format events, and measure the leads each one produces. Brief the content team on what the market is asking about, so what we publish starts conversations, and explore how AI tools such as Claude can make research and outreach faster and better.

About you

Personality and character: First and foremost, we are looking for someone commercially driven who enjoys building a pipeline as much as winning the deal. Persistent, organised and comfortable with a high volume of conversations. Curious about the people and businesses behind the built environment. A strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Aligned with our values of collaboration, expertise, technology and a growth mindset.

Experience and skills: A track record of generating and converting new business in B2B services, ideally recruitment, RPO, consultancy or a supplier to construction or architecture. Experience selling to talent acquisition, HR or business leaders, and running sales with several contacts in one account. Evidence of hitting activity and pipeline targets, with the numbers to show it. Hands-on marketing experience: campaigns, email, LinkedIn and events, judged on the leads they produce. Strong writing. Outreach, proposals and campaign copy that is specific and short. Experience choosing, setting up or running a CRM, and comfortable reporting a funnel from it. Knowledge of construction, infrastructure or architecture is a strong advantage. Comfortable with the autonomy of a remote-first business, and willing to travel to clients and events.
