Gensler's Birmingham office is seeking a Design Manager/Project Leader with strong technical skills to join the team. You will be client orientated leading projects and design teams to design world class buildings.

What you will do:

  • Designing world class buildings
  • Lead collaborative design teams to establish effective project work plans with clear, achievable objectives and design intent.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all design stages, guiding the team effectively through the development of design documents.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Your Qualifications:

  • Experience leading architectural and interior architecture projects.
  • Experience managing large-scale, complex projects and mentoring architects and designers.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to a collaborative design process.
  • Experience negotiating project scope and fees.
  • Working knowledge of Revit is preferred.
