Arcas is partnered with an organisation that’s investing in strengthening its internal IT function. They’re looking for a Level 1 End User Support Engineer who enjoys being the first point of contact, keeping systems running smoothly, and supporting a hybrid environment across on‑prem and cloud. This is a role for someone who wants ownership, structure, and the chance to build strong fundamentals across infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and device management.

What you’ll be doing:

  • First‑line support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
  • Hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues
  • Supporting Windows and/or macOS plus common business applications
  • Password resets, access issues, and basic security guidance
  • Keeping an eye on on‑prem and cloud servers for performance and availability
  • User accounts, permissions, services, and escalating when needed
  • Supporting a mix of on‑prem systems and cloud platforms
  • Assisting with M365, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID
  • Logging incidents, requests, and resolutions accurately
