A trusted client of Arcas Technology is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys taking ownership, improving stability, and keeping systems running smoothly across a mixed Microsoft environment. If you’re someone who thrives in a hands‑on role, enjoys solving problems properly, and wants to be involved in ongoing infrastructure improvements, this could be a strong next step.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting and maintaining core Windows Server infrastructure
  • Managing Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange and permissions
  • Administering Microsoft 365, Intune, SCCM, JAMF, MDT, WDS and related tooling
  • Working with VMware/Hyper‑V to manage and maintain virtualised environments
  • Handling networking fundamentals: VLANs, subnetting, routing, switch configuration
  • Monitoring systems, resolving incidents, and improving operational reliability
  • Creating and maintaining documentation, processes and technical guides
  • Supporting infrastructure projects and contributing to continuous improvement

Your background:

  • Solid experience in a 2nd/3rd line or Infrastructure Engineer role
  • Strong Windows Server and AD administration skills
  • Comfortable managing virtualisation platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V)
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Experience with M365, Intune, SCCM or similar device‑management tools
  • Someone who takes ownership, documents properly, and solves problems at root cause
  • A proactive mindset, improving systems, not just maintaining them
