Role Description: We currently have an opportunity for a Civil Structural Senior Engineer - Rail to join our Rail North West near Manchester. In this role, you will lead the delivery of civil and structural design packages for rail infrastructure projects, ensuring technical outputs meet project, client and industry requirements. You will develop practical engineering solutions across a range of rail assets while supporting multidisciplinary project delivery. Role Accountabilities: Lead the delivery of civil and structural design packages for rail infrastructure projects. Prepare, review and verify calculations, drawings, reports and technical deliverables. Develop engineering solutions for bridges, foundations, retaining structures, stations and related rail infrastructure. Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities and ensure effective design integration. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians. Support design reviews, technical assurance activities and the resolution of engineering issues. Identify and manage design risks in line with project requirements and relevant standards. Ensure deliverables comply with Arcadis requirements, national standards and codes of practice. Qualifications
