As part of a growing and agile business, our Environmental Planning team is looking for a Principal/Associate Technical Director with a strong track record of leading the environmental and consenting aspects of projects, with particular experience in winning and delivering work in the Design and Build Sector. As part of our Environmental team, you’ll help improve quality of life. With your specialism in environmental management, or your technical or sustainability expertise, your work could involve protected species, pollution, surface water and materials management, air quality or noise. And in some of the world’s busiest and most beautiful locations. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations.

The rate at which we’re seeing large-scale, unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires is becoming more frequent. You will be working on a diverse range of projects including large scale energy and infrastructure, rail, highways, water and mixed-use development schemes for both private and public clients, public realm and masterplanning projects as well as more small scale projects that require a nimble and agile approach. We drive technical excellence in everything we do and promote a flexible and collaborative environment supported by digital innovation.
You will play a key role in the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects across the UK / worldwide. You will also be responsible for the following:
- Leading on the coordination and delivery of planning / environmental work being undertaken by multi-disciplinary teams, influencing project development and delivering optimal environmental and planning outcomes.
