In this role, you will work with Arcadis Digital Intelligence team delivering innovative solutions to our clients from our key products including Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and Enterprise Data Analytics (EDA). Digital Intelligence is unique in being able to offer products which span the entire asset lifecycle; strategy, planning, design, build, operate and disposal.
Digital Intelligence has embraced a platform approach, that converges our product capabilities and opening new possibilities using machine learning and artificial intelligence. This approach encompasses a multitude of vendors (Microsoft, AWS, ESRI, Snowflake, IBM and Apache Software Foundation) and services (Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Apache Airflow, dbt Cloud, watsonx, Kafka, Kubernetes (EKS and AKS), Red Hat Open Shift, plus others.) thus ensuring we can leverage data-driven insights based on rich industry-specific data sets.
The Senior Maximo Technical Consultant plays a critical role in client engagements and delivery throughout the project lifecycle. Our engagements range from strategic (advisory) / technical consultancy engagements through upgrades (7.6.x to MAS) and to enterprise large-scale multiyear deployments.
They have deep knowledge and expertise across configuration (Automation Scripts), system integration (MIF, REST APIs), and data migration/integration and are comfortable using a DevOps SDLC as part of a team using CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, Docker, GitHub).
They are invested in and demonstrate a keen interest in both IBM MAS (Dashboards, Manage, Health, Predict, Visual Inspection, Assist, Maximo Mobile) and the latest software engineering trends (AI-Ops, Generative AI, IaC, DevSecOps)
Role Accountabilities:

Implement, configure and support our EAM products (Core EAM, Mobile Work Execution and Mobile Fault Reporting)

Implement, configure, and support IBM Maximo Application Suite for clients

Gather business requirements and configure Maximo modules (e.g., Asset Management, Work Management, Inventory, Procurement)

Conduct system and data integrations
-
Conduct data migrations (data design, mapping, validation and reporting)

Develop technical documentation
-
Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support

Assist with testing, system upgrades, and ensure continuous improvement

Apply industry best practices for system configuration and implementation

IBM Maximo Configuration & Customization: Expertise in configuring and customizing Maximo modules (Asset Management, Work Management, Procurement, etc.)

Maximo Data Model: Experience migrating data from legacy systems into Maximo, deep understanding of the tables, views and relationships, together with strong SQL knowledge

System Integrations: Experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and integrating Maximo with other systems via APIs, web services, and data migration.

Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot Maximo-related problems, and provide effective solutions.

Knowledge of database concepts and querying in IBM DB2, Oracle DB, and MS SQL Server.

Experience in programming languages including some of Python, Typescript, JavaScript, R, Java, C#, producing services, APIs, Function Apps or Lambdas.

Strong understanding of core object-oriented concepts with good knowledge of Java, Web services, JavaScript, Json, XML, JDBC, and other related technologies.

Experience in data and orchestration tools including some of dbt, Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory.

Experience with unit testing in a variety of languages and tools. Perhaps experience of Junit, NUnit, XUnit and Jest, along with experience of associated tools for mocking classes and interfaces as well as external services and databases.

Experience of using and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.

Experience with source Git-based control systems, perhaps, GitHub or Bitbucket
