You will take on a key role within the team, providing mapping support, geospatial intelligence, and data analysis.You will provide geospatial expertise to a range of projects for both internal and external clients. Working on a variety of projects with a focus on environmental aspects, including large infrastructure studies, you will develop processes and tools which support data driven decision making. You will need to establish strong relationships with internal project managers and technical leads in the wider Business Sectors. Identification and development of internal & external geospatial business opportunities will also be expected.Role accountabilities:Acting as a trusted advisor to colleagues and clients on the application of geospatial technologies and techniquesManaging the delivery of GIS tasks, including map production and spatial analysis, ensuring quality and compliance with project requirementsData management, including digital data capture, analysis, and validationDesigning and building web GIS applications, dashboards, and other digital productsSupporting business development, bid preparation, and client relationship managementApplying and promoting GIS and data management best practice, quality assurance, and professional standardsIdentifying innovative applications of GIS, data science, AI, and automation to improve processes and outputsProviding leadership and technical advice to junior project team membersExcellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail, with a particular focus on professional cartographic and visualisation standardsQualifications & Experience:Advanced use of ArcGIS Pro for data management, analysis and map productionDemonstrable experience delivering GIS consultancy services within multidisciplinary project teams, including ecologists, environmental planners and designersExperience developing and configuring web mapping applications, dashboards and data collection solutionsExperience working with environmental, ecological or planning datasets and associated data standardsWorking knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise (Server, ArcSDE, Portal for ArcGIS, Datastore) and/or ArcGIS OnlineExperience in mobile applications such as ESRI Field Maps, Survey 123 or QFieldDesirable: Experience of creating processes for calculation of environmental metrics (e.g. Biodiversity Net Gain)Desirable: Experience with ESRI Model Builder or FMEDesirable: Experience developing automation workflows using Python and ArcPyDesirable: Experience of Remote Sensing/Earth Observation techniquesWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
