Our Water Management team is seeking a Senior Wastewater Modeller. In this position you will develop wastewater models, manage key project aspects, and work closely with clients to expand Arcadis's project portfolio through strategic client interactions.
Accountabilities- Deliver wastewater infrastructure and nonâinfrastructure modelling projects, managing tasks of various scales.
- Conduct technical reviews of models, oversee model build and verification of sewer networks, and develop solutions to mitigate flooding and reduce CSO spills.
- Provide support to designers at concept outline and detailed design stages.
- Review and enhance technical reports and presentations to uphold highâquality standards.
- Resolve technical modelling challenges and contribute to advancing the team's technical expertise.
- Ensure project components, including reports, drawings, specifications, and studies, comply with relevant standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with clients, ensuring they understand model outputs and processes.
- Support and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Assist with preparation of bids including narratives, cost estimates, and programmes.
- Coordinate project elements, managing resource allocation, quality assurance, subcontractor interactions, and client feedback.
- Work alongside specialists from other engineering and environmental disciplines to ensure project integrity.
- Liaise with the Project Director or Manager and the client to support project progress.
- Foster a collaborative work environment by actively supporting the professional development of both yourself and your team.
- Advanced expertise in hydraulic modelling for a range of wastewater infrastructure and nonâinfrastructure projects.
- Skilled in team and stakeholder coordination and management.
- Proficient in InfoWorks ICM.
- HADES knowledge would be advantageous.
- Competent in using relevant GIS software packages.
- Chartered member of a relevant professional institution would be desirable (e.g., ICE or CIWEM).
- Proven experience in model quality assurance procedures.
- Strong reportâwriting skills.
- Advanced abilities in spreadsheetâbased data analysis.
- Coding experience desirable.
