As a Senior Planner you will be an integral part of the programme delivery team responsible for the effective implementation of project controls across a Major Energy Project or portfolio of projects. You will help deliver some of the biggest, most iconic projects imaginable, with some of the best talent around. With your energy, agility and a keen eye for detail, you’ll deliver transformational outcomes for multiple clients every day.
Role Accountabilities
- Develop baseline and detailed project schedules to support the delivery of complex engineering and construction programmes in compliance with company standards.
- Manage and report on critical path analysis and assess and report subcontractor programmes for approval by the Project Manager.
- Use expert knowledge of earned value management to support the broader project controls team to deliver accurate cost forecasts for the client, and assist Project Managers in producing monthly performance reports.
- Work on projects during the pre‑contract phase to provide an expert assessment of contractors' tender programmes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience utilising Primavera P6 planning software.
- Schedule planning, forecasting and reporting.
- Construction background.
- Extensive NEC 3 / 4 contract experience.
- Ideally experience working within the Electrical Transmission and Distribution sector; experience on public sector projects in a regulated environment (e.g. water, rail, aviation, nuclear) is encouraged.
- Working as part of an integrated delivery team.
