We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with previous experience designing electrical systems within buildings to join our Places Design Practice. In this role, you’ll be delivering elegant and efficient electrical design solutions on exciting and challenging projects for key clients across sectors including Industrial Manufacturing, Defence and Education.
Role accountabilities:
- Working on technical aspects of small projects or components of larger projects, meeting financial, quality and timeframe objectives and exceeding client expectations.
- Collaborating with a multi-discipline team to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution.
- Preparing accurate drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation while ensuring that allocated activities are completed within budget, timeframe and quality objectives.
- Applying analytical, technical writing and design skills at project level and contributing to the resolution of technical issues under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Evidence that you’re working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
- Previous relevant experience in a similar role designing electrical systems within buildings.
- An understanding of the design of individual elements of a project and how it ultimately interfaces with the client.
