  • Work with key stakeholders to clarify project scope, technical requirements, and specific client criteria.
  • Lead the development of technical design information through relevant project stages, ensuring outputs are coordinated, accurate, and suitable for tender, construction, and fabrication.
  • Produce and oversee the delivery of technical drawing packages, including detailed interior architectural information and bespoke joinery documentation.
  • Prepare and coordinate joinery packages covering items such as fitted furniture, cabinetry, wall panelling, reception desks, tea points, storage units, feature elements, and other bespoke millwork items.
  • Ensure all packages clearly communicate dimensions, materials, finishes, tolerances, interfaces, ironmongery, and installation intent.
  • Coordinate technical information with internal teams and external consultants, contractors, suppliers, and specialist subcontractors.
  • Review and comment on shop drawings, fabrication details, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with design intent and project requirements.
  • Support construction-stage delivery by responding to technical queries, reviewing site issues, and assisting with resolution of coordination challenges.
  • Monitor the performance of team members, identify issues, and support their resolution.
  • Coach, guide, and provide technical advice to junior team members, supporting both project delivery and professional development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of drawing standards, technical quality, and project delivery processes.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support the development and preparation of winning sales proposals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body appropriate to the role.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and deliver projects within one or more relevant sectors.
  • Strong technical design capability, with proven experience in the development of detailed interior architecture and joinery packages.
