We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Rail South, West & Wales business within the Civil and Structural Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of rail infrastructure projects, working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, sustainable, and high-quality engineering solutions. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of technical designs across the full project lifecycle. You will apply your engineering expertise to solve complex challenges, support project delivery, and collaborate closely with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. Contribute to the design and delivery of rail engineering projects, ensuring outputs meet quality, safety, and client requirements • Develop practical and efficient engineering solutions across feasibility, design, and implementation stages • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities within multidisciplinary project teams • Prepare and review technical designs, reports, drawings, and specifications in line with relevant standards and project requirements • Provide technical input to clients and stakeholders to support informed project decision-making • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality, and timely delivery of project outputs • Promote a positive culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement across all activities • Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering • Experience in civil engineering design within the railway environment, with knowledge of relevant rail standards and processes • Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams • Proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to continuous professional development • Awareness of digital engineering tools and environments If you are an experienced Civil Engineer looking to develop your career on a wide range of rail infrastructure projects, we would welcome your application.
