Our two-year Graduate GROW Programme supports your transition from student to professional, sitting along client work and real projects from day one. Each graduate’s journey is unique, shaped by their chosen specialism and the variety of projects they contribute to. You will build your technical expertise by contributing to meaningful client engagements and project work, whilst business acumen and professional skills will be developed through centrally delivered graduate cohort training. Although there are no formal rotations, graduates are encouraged and supported by their managers to proactively seek opportunities, to broaden their experience and support their development. As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. Working in teams of consultants you’ll be responsible for your own deliverables, liaising with clients, and given every opportunity to build your skillsets and technical expertise. You’ll work on a range of environmental and planning projects which may include major infrastructure, urban regeneration and community focussed projects that will expose you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.
Role accountabilities:
- Design & Construction Safety Management - The Design & Construction Safety Team has a wealth of knowledge and experience in eliminating and managing risks associated with construction projects from initial feasibility, survey investigation through to design, construction, and safe access & maintenance of completed assets. You will assist in the delivery of project-related tasks, such as carrying out initial site visits, requesting, reviewing & identifying gaps in the survey information, scope gap on appointment of specialist consultants, reviewing the design development at each design stage to ensure design and construction risks are eliminated or reduced to their lowest manageable level.
Accepted degrees:
- BEng/BSc in design related degree (Architect, Civil Engineering, Building Services etc.) or Construction Management.
- Interest in Safety Management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- You will be graduating in 2027 or have recently graduated in 2025 or 2026, with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree.
- You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player.
- You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working).
- Hold a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK.
- Comfortable with Site based working, when required for projects.
