The Cost and Commercial Assurance service line requires individuals to be able to deliver potentially contentious results and findings in a manner that supports and assists clients. As an Associate Consultant you will need to be able to lead your team by example, be flexible and able to adapt to different client requirements at short notice and happy to travel both throughout the UK and abroad in the pursuit of successful delivery. Cost and Commercial Assurance is a leading edge, innovative service line, providing high value and insightful outcomes to major clients throughout Arcadis' Infrastructure and Environment sectors. There is currently a fantastic opportunity for a successful individual to contribute to the development and growth of our Cost and Commercial Assurance services across multiple market sectors, both domestically and internationally. A natural eye for detail is essential, but with an ability to put commercial context around the detail to enable our clients to make wider, impactful business decisions. The successful individual will ideally have experience within a consulting environment, a passion for enhancing the delivery of projects and programmes, as well as the ambition to rapidly take on responsibility and help develop the service line. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team and utilising resources to deliver projects within cost, time and quality standards, and will have significant technical knowledge and experience in their field. Monitor and review the performance and behaviour of all team members, including educating and influencing others, and take action to ensure compliance with our organisational policies and codes of conduct Use own knowledge and experience of industry best practice to support the development of the existing Arcadis Cost Assurance systems and processes. Create project costings and budgets from clear objectives. Managing finances across multiple projects in order to ensure profit and budgetary targets are met and best value outcomes are achieved for Arcadis and our clientsAssure compliance with contracts in terms of project delivery parameters and scope of service. Management of key stakeholders and their expectations through regular communications. Effective presentation of final report outputs and recommendations to clients and contractors. Detailed analysis of cost data against contractual/commercial principles. Appraisal of cost/commercial management systems and processes. Travelling to different sites/locations nationally and internationally. Qualifications & Experience: Relevant professional experience of delivering medium to large projects across multiple market sectors. Knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques Demonstrable experience with developing and generating new clients and workstreams. Experience of identifying and assessing risks in project environments.
