Providing value adding standardisation, insight and control is at the heart of supporting the success of our clients and their programme delivery teams.
Due to recent wins and further plans for growth across Northern England, we are looking for energetic and well-rounded project management professionals to join our Major Projects team; across construction management, project planning & controls and Full Life Cycle Project Managers – From early stage Business Case Production & Development Management through to Design, Construction and Handover. The individual will join our programme management & controls team, providing solutions for our key clients across the transportation, infrastructure and buildings sectors.
Role accountabilities:
- To hold client facing delivery roles working directly with our key customers for major projects within the infrastructure and transportation sectors, bringing best practice project management, construction management, planning, controls and risk solutions to delight our clients.
- To bring project management, construction management, planning, controls and risk management expertise and learning to our major projects, integrating multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated and value adding controls solutions for our clients.
- To be an ambassador for Arcadis’ digital controls solutions, bringing in our talented teams in data science and data analytics to provide transformative and efficient digital controls solutions to our clients.
- To be an active member within Arcadis’ Global Project & Programme Controls community, supporting the growth and development of yourself, our people, and those within our clients, partners and wider industry bodies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- To be a project management, construction management and / or planning and controls professional who has worked in roles across a variety of projects within the infrastructure, transportation and / or buildings sectors.
- We are looking for well-rounded professionals, who ideally have experience and qualifications across project management, construction management, project controls, planning (schedule management), risk management, digital solutions and cost engineering. While it is not essential to have experience and qualifications across all of these areas, we do require candidates who have a solid understanding across all of these areas, combined with a passion for learning, growth and agility, displaying an ability to flex the solutions they provide to the needs of our clients.
- Having experience working across the supply chain, including perspectives from client-side, consultant, contractor and designers would be a strong advantage.
- Having experience spanning through all stages of the project / programme life cycle, from mobilisation, set-up, delivery, handover and benefits realisation across a variety of Projects.
- Holding a degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Holding qualifications aligned to Project Controls, Planning and / or Risk Management, such as Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), APM’s Planning and Controls Certifications, Oracle P6 Certifications and Risk Management Certification.
- We would also like to hear from individuals with qualifications & experience as NEC4 Practitioners, Site Supervision / Clerk of Works and Business Change.
