Graduate Sustainability Advisory Consultant – Energy Transition
Join Arcadis as a Graduate Sustainability Advisory Consultant – Energy Transition. This role is part of the GROW graduate programme, a structured 3-year programme designed to help you develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field. You will benefit from training and development, mentoring, and support for accreditations relevant to your programme, as well as guidance to help you succeed. As a GROW graduate you will be empowered to drive your career and will be exposed to a variety of experiences to build your skills and technical expertise.
As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW, you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. Working in teams of consultants you’ll be responsible for your own deliverables, liaising with clients, and building your skillsets and technical expertise. You’ll work on a range of environmental and planning projects which may include major infrastructure, urban regeneration, and community-focused projects that will expose you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.
Role accountabilities
Sustainability Advisory (Energy Transition) – Be a key contributor in this decade of change. As part of our Energy Transition team, you will engage with some of the largest clients in the built environment sector, guiding them in the decarbonisation of assets and advancing the transition to sustainable energy in buildings, district heating, and master planning. Our mission is to enhance Quality of Life in alignment with a 1.5-degree pathway. We achieve this through a comprehensive suite of technical services through Energy Transition. Qualifications & Experience
- Accepted degrees: BEng/BSc/MEng/MSc in Engineering or similar.
- You will be graduating in 2026 or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master\’s or bachelor\’s degree.
- You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and being a team player.
- You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working).
