Arcadis are looking for an Experienced Lead Driller based at our Gloucester facility. The position will involve working throughout the UK across a variety of sites and sectors including manufacturing, petrochemical and construction environments.

Role accountabilities:

The successful candidate would be expected to work independently, demonstrating leadership, and taking a key role in the development of Assistant Drillers, and Health and Safety Stewardship.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience acting in the role of Lead Driller – preferably holding an NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling.
  • BDA audit would also be beneficial.
  • Experience in Logging to BS5930 and knowledge of Eurocode 7 would be beneficial.
  • A full, clean driving licence (Category B) is essential, supplementary entitlement for C1+E and/or C preferable.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • It would also be beneficial if the applicant holds Personal Track Safety (PTS) accreditations or an SPA/PIA training card.

The position will involve working away throughout the week with accommodation provided directly by the company and a daily subsistence allowance provided. Please note that although most of the work will be away, daily commuting to Gloucester may be required at times; therefore, the successful candidate will reside within a reasonable commute from the depot.
