You will play a key role in the delivery of one of our biggest data centre construction projects in Finland.
The successful candidate will be based either 100% in country, or there will be significant international travel to Norway (11/3 rotations) DutiesDaily on-site presence overseeing CSA activities throughout construction and handover phasesReview and approval of ITPs, check-sheets, etc. Benchmarking workmanship standardsVerifying ongoing works against benchmarks, ensuring compliance with established workmanship standardsDeveloping QA/QC checklists and converting to BIM format for use with individual assetsVerifying ongoing works against benchmarks, ensuring compliance with established workmanship standardsEnsuring contractors comply with their ITPs and complete QC checklists within BIM 360Confirming adherence to project specifications, IFC drawings, codes and standardsIdentifying discrepancies, overseeing, monitoring and expediting resolution of issues arisingVerifying calibration status of monitoring and measuring equipmentMonitor the progressive generation of red line drawings and as-built recordsReview and report on the accuracy of red-line and as built recordsEscalating potential quality issues to PMC Quality Manager, as required for resolutionProviding guidance and input to SPCs in pursuit of continual improvementAssisting with start-up and commissioning protocols, witnessing the commissioning of mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, piping, critical cooling, fire protection, etc) Sign-off of completed construction works and checks before energisationIdentifying lessons learned and promoting continual improvement of operationsSkills CSA works inspection of data centres or other mission-critical environmentsLarge-scale projects, data centres preferredProficient in the interpretation and application of design information Strong understanding of local regulations and project management principlesStrong IT ability (BIM 360 & Google suite)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and proactively, prioritise and solve problemsDetail-focussedTeam player with good interpersonal skillsQualifications & Experience: First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life.

You are a technically capable and come to us with: BSc/BEng Civil Engineering preferred / BTech Level or related fieldExtensive experience in a Quality Manager role on major construction projects Experience working on data centre/technology project experience preferred but not essential Experience working in consultancy, general contractor or client-side environments Why Arcadis?
