Arcadis is the world’s leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. We are looking for an experienced EHS Manager to join our rapidly growing team in Norway. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering one of our biggest data centre construction projects in the Nordics.
Key accountabilities:
- Provide direction and support for implementation of the EHS & Security Plan.
- Verify that the project/site-specific EHS procedures protect personnel and the general public.
- Hold line management accountable for EHS Management System implementation and performance.
- Encourage the proactive involvement of all personnel in executing the EHS program.
- Oversee EHS performance on the project/site.
- Review incident records and verify that all follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure incidents where personal injuries occur are thoroughly and appropriately investigated and ensure closure of subsequent action items.
- Participate in audits and weekly planned inspections of the site and ensure closure of subsequent action items.
- Continuously monitor Arcadis and contractor EHS performance indicators and project/site inspection reports.
- Conduct performance evaluations to include personal EHS involvement and performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Extensive experience in an EHS Manager role on major construction projects.
- Experience on data centre/technology projects preferred but not essential.
- Experience working in consultancy, general contractor or client-side environments.
