Role description: Play a key role delivering tech sector mega‑projects. We are looking for an experienced High Voltage (HV) Electrical Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team. You will play a key role in delivering one of our biggest data centre construction projects. You can be based either 100% in country, or there will be significant international travel to Finland.

Role accountabilities:

  • You’ll be responsible for managing the HV electrical packages of hyperscale data centre construction projects, taking projects through pre‑construction, construction, and close‑out/fit‑up.

Pre‑construction:

  • Working with the client and general contractor to create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget.
  • Supporting contractor pre‑qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations.
  • Supporting contract negotiations.
  • Assisting the client and the client’s team in identifying, scoping, buying‑out and scheduling of all owner‑direct vendors and consultants.

Construction:

  • Managing the general contractor and other directly contracted vendors on the ground.
  • Coordinating value engineering efforts during the construction phase.
  • Working with the client’s commercial and PCG team to develop budget management and tracking.
  • Liaising with the client’s schedule management team to provide schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis.

Close‑out/Fit‑up:

  • Initiating close‑out process prior to project completion, typically two to three months in advance.
  • Establishing close‑out documentation requirements with the client’s document controller.
  • Collect and track receipt of all close‑out documents until completion, including warranties, as‑built, O&M manuals, etc.
  • Assisting with city and/or other authority final inspections and occupancy process.
  • Assisting the client in scheduling, coordination and management of all owner‑direct vendors and consultants.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • An in-depth understanding of large‑scale technical projects and construction techniques.
  • Experience delivering HV packages.
  • Ability to manage technical disciplines.
  • Experience working on data centre new build and refurbishment projects, preferably on hyperscale builds, advantageous.
  • Ability to commit to significant international travel.
  • Familiar with local legislation (Finland).
